Finnish Society of Food Science and Technology FINLAND

Finnish Society of Food Science and Technology (ETS) was established in 1947. Nowadays it has about 1 000 members. They are food science professionals and work within the food chain, from food research to production, quality control to sales and marketing in private, public and education sectors. There are nine divisions within the society, one of the biggest being the Sensory Science Division.

The society has published a professional science magazine Kehittyvä Elintarvike (Developing Food) since 1990.

ETS is one of the E3S founders.

How to become a ETS member

The membership is for food science professionals. A university degree in Food Science or related is preferred, but society is open also for food science students and others who have an interest in food science or background in the food sector.
