Feast has an exciting Research Officer opportunity available for an individual passionate about sensory science. The position is focused on leading consumer and sensory research projects for its industry clients and research partners. Feast is a diverse and welcoming team working in state of-the art consumer and sensory laboratories including dedicated booths, focus group and training rooms and a digital immersive space.The position will give the successful candidate an opportunity to be part of a vibrant sensory research community and to apply and develop a range of sensory and consumer science methodologies in the newly built Feast lab facilities with support from technical staff.
Feast encourage individuals with a strong background and experience in running sensory and consumer trials, with a Master’s or PhD degree in Sensory and Consumer Science (or an associated field) to apply. Previous and considerable experience in industry will also be considered. You must have strong oral and written English communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Applicants must be eligible for employment by Massey University, and consideration will need to be made of any current travel restrictions for overseas applicants. We are seeking to fill this position from June 2022 onwards.
