Food Sensory Science Group (IG Sensorik) is a stakeholder of the Swiss Society of Food Science and Technology and also a member of the European Sensory Science Society / E3S. Committed people with an interest in this subject from industry, trade and commerce, research and teaching can find a platform here on the subject area of ‘sensorial sciences’. Our members mostly come from the Society of Food Science and Technology but also from other organizations and groups interested in sensory science.
Our strengths lie in the exchange of information and networking. Problems related to sensory science right along the value-added chain interest us as does the application of established and innovative sensory methods. Here our focus is on the subject of food. We are also interested in topics branching off from the subject of ‘near food’ (cosmetics, packaging).
All IG Sensorik members are members of the Swiss Society of Food Science and technology / SGLWT (= mother-society).
