An exciting programme includes six keynote speakers as well as oral-, flash- and poster presentations.

Keynote speakers are Tormod Næs and Paula Varela (Norway), Dominique Valentin (France), Gastón Ares (Uruguay), Erminio Monteleone (Italy) and Riette de Kock (South Africa).

As this is the first international conference of its kind on African soil, the needs, challenges and opportunities of different African regions will also be addressed.

The AfroSense conference concludes on Thursday 26 November with a ½-day workshop focussing on rapid sensory methods that are ideally suited for R & D within the industry environment.

A postconference Half-day Workshop aimed at methods to understand consumers’ motivations from  a cross- cultural perspective:  Focus on psychological and cultural aspects will be held on Friday 27 November 2015 (09:00-14:00) and presented by Dominique Valentin.
