Nordic Sensory Workshop 2021

NORDIC SENSORY WORKSHOP

WHAT IS THE ADDED VALUE OF SENSORY AND CONSUMER SCIENCE?

27 – 28 April 2021 – Digital Edition

Flash and poster abstracts submission deadline: February 21st

Due to Covid-19, the event will be held digitally this year, but we already hope that we will meet live in Gothenburg next year. If you have already registered, your registration is valid for the new dates and you will receive more information at the e-mail address you provided when registering for the event. If you need to cancel, you are welcome to contact tina.petersson@ri.se.

The aim of the workshop is to give specific attention on how we can communicate the added value that sensory and consumer sciences bring to industry and society. Building a strong bridge between research, industry and final user depends on how we communicate our findings. Storytelling of where and when sensory and consumer studies made a difference for research, product development, new foods acceptance, sustainable society, education, etc.

The workshop focuses mainly on food but other applications where the understanding of the senses plays a key role are also considered. Industry experts and scientists working with sensory and consumer science have the chance to meet and discuss challenges, learnings and possible directions for a better integration of scientific methods, product development and the final user.

The new registration price is 200€ for early registration (before March 15th) and 250€ for late registration (after March 15th).  Last day of registration is April 10th. Students get 50% discount!

The program will remain the same and talks/exercises will happen online from 13.00-17.00 CET both days. At the end of the first day you will also participate in a social online event!

We invite you to submit your flash and poster abstracts and become part of the final program before February 21st to mihaela.mihnea@ri.se or tina.petersson@ri.se. Student with best poster will get free registration!
